X-rays
A full jaw (Panoramic) X-ray is usually required for Oral Surgery. If your dentist has taken one within the last six months, you may save yourself this additional fee by picking up that film from the dentists office before your appointment. Small intraoral dental x-rays are often inadequate for surgical treatment planning.

Hospital Affiliations
All hospital surgeries are done at the Somerset Hospital. Elective surgeries are performed on alternate Wednesdays.

Pre-op Preparation
If you are scheduled for in-office anesthesia, you must fast for 6 hours and be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please confirm these plans with our office prior to arrival. Read Instructions for patients who are to receive IV Sedation...

Insurance
We participate in many insurance programs which include but are not limited to: Highmark Blue Shield, United Concordia, Keystone Health Plan West, UPMC, Delta Dental, Cigna, , Med Plus, and Pennsylvania Access. Please bring your insurance card with you so that we can confirm your coverage. Insurance confirmation is not a guarantee of benefits - you are responsible for anything not covered by your plan. We will file insurance forms on your behalf.

Fees
Payment is expected at the time of service unless other arrangements are made. We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover for your convenience, and we can arrange a credit plan that provides for interest free payments.
