The
Quilt Show Draws Outstanding Crowds
Each
year, visitors to the Pennsylvania Maple Festival are attracted by the
Annual Quilt Show. Quilters from all over have their quilts on display
at the Meyersdale Fire Department's Hall, next to the Lions Pancake
House. The Quilt Show is open to the public throughout the festival
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Before the start of the Maple Festival, quilts are judged and cash awards
and ribbons are handed out for the the top quilts. Judging of the quilts
is not open to the public. During the festival, the quilts are displayed
and many are for sale.

1st - $25.00 and Ribbon
2nd - $15.00 and Ribbon
3rd - $10.00 and Ribbon
Best of Show - $30.00 and Ribbon
Ribbon People's Choice - $20.00 and Ribbon

QUILTING
WORKSHOP
Elaine Salvino will be presenting a two-day workshop
on Monday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Meyersdale Volunteer
Fire Department. Students will quilt the "Twist" under Elaine's
careful supervision. Click

Homemade
Quilt to be raffled at Maple Festival
Chances will be available for a homemade quilt during the Maple Festival's
Quilt show. Chances are $1 a peice or 6 for $5. All proceeds benefit
the Pennsylvania Maple Fesitval. Click
