WELCOME TO THE SAR IN SOMERSET AND CAMBRIA COUNTIES, PA

The Somerset chapter was chartered in 1946.
Cambria and Somerset County chapters combined in 1976 to form the single chapter we have now.
We have about 50 members, and are always looking for new ones.

The Sons of the American Revolution is an organization dedicated to the propagation of the values on which America was founded, for which our fore-fathers fought and, in many cases, died.
We are proud of our American heritage and our ancestors.
The SAR is the largest male genealogical society in the United States.

The Somerset-Cambria County Chapter of the SAR meets several times each year.
The meeting places are varied.
