The Somerset-Cambria County Chapter

Sons of the American Revolution

WELCOME TO THE SAR IN SOMERSET AND CAMBRIA COUNTIES, PA

The Somerset-Cambria County Chapter of the SAR meets several times each year.
The meeting places are varied.

We maintain about 50 members, and are always looking for new ones.
Cambria and Somerset County chapters combined in 1976 to form the single chapter we have now.
The Somerset chapter was chartered in 1946.

The SAR is an organization dedicated to the propagation of the values on which America was founded, for which our fore-fathers fought and, in many cases, died. We are proud of our American heritage and enjoy our genealogies. The SAR is the largest male genealogical society in the United States.
