IDM EDU-100A Chip location reference |
In the abstract we need not worry about chip names, functions, or appearance. A simple reference and lookup table solve a lot of problems associated with hardware obfuscation. Navigation is pretty strait forward simply click on a highlighted URL within the text or on one of the chips within the image map.
Here is a quick cheat sheet on the terminology used here:
L = Location
P = Pin
( ) = Entity
Some chips may have multiple connection points and considering this fact an example is provided for mnemonic sentence structure clarification.
Example: Driven by (L1-P1) Connected with (L1-P3,4) (L5-P1) (L3-P10)
This means that Location 1 Pin 1 Is driving the current pin reference and Location1 Pins 3 and 4, location 5 pin 1 and location 3 pin 10 are ALL connected to the reference. The parenthesis indicate the beginning and end of abstracted entities. This sentence structure allows a great deal of meaningful information to be presented with relatively limited table resources.
