also own a clothing company with two stores and a mail order catalog. The Beastie Boys are also the founders of the Tibetan Freedom Concert held every year in New York. Currently the rumor is that the boys are recording thier next album. It is said that the Beastie Boys had bought and reconstucted a submarine, with a full recording studio. Now whether this is true or not, I haven’t a clue, but it is a fact that many musicians have been disappearing the second the submarine enters port. Well I know It sounds really far out but take a look at this. It’s a diagram of the submarine I found at the Grand Royal Site. I have heard that the album was do out in the Spring of 97. That shit obviously did not happen. Why? well this is the story I got. The Beastie Boys decided to go into the motion picture business, they were going to shoot a movie called “We Can Do It”. The movie was going to be a full length film with the “Sabotage” feel. Well the film did not pan out and according to an email I recieved from someone at Grand Royal, the deal just did not come together. So back to the studios. Currently the word is that the album will be out in early spring. Whatever. I guess better late then never is alright. Well that brings you right up until today.
